The earth is already too hot. The world’s greatest climate scientists tell us that we still have time to prevent the worst consequences of fossil fuel driven climate damage, but the window for action is closing rapidly.
We have solutions
Renewables with storage is now the most affordable form of energy, and protecting forests, restoring wetlands and natural drawdown techniques can greatly reduce climate damage. We will be able to progress rapid strong climate action, protect our forests and move to affordable renewable energy and storage.
But our politicians are blocking effective action, and are even considering funding new coal fired power stations.
If we can build a big base across eastern Melbourne we will be in a good position to influence policy, drop emissions and shift votes for climate across all three levels of government.
We would love you to volunteer for strong climate action to protect your future and our kids!
